Kaiwen Shi is a pianist, writer, and music AI creator whose work moves between classical piano, aesthetic writing, contemplative practice, and interpretable tools for musical intelligence.
He is currently pursuing a DMA in Piano Performance at Temple University, where he also serves as a teaching assistant.
His current direction centers on Piano Evaluator, a project for turning expert piano listening into evidence-based rubrics, annotated cases, and future AI-assisted feedback systems.
